Description
KPV is a tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) derived from the C-terminal end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Despite lacking the full melanocortin receptor binding domain, this minimal peptide fragment has been studied for its interactions with inflammatory signalling pathways, including NF-kB modulation and cytokine expression in cell-based models.
