Description
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4–10), with a Pro-Gly-Pro C-terminal extension that confers resistance to proteolytic degradation. It has been studied for its interactions with neurotrophic factor expression and monoamine neurotransmitter systems.
