Description
A two-component research blend supplied in a single nasal spray, containing Oxytocin (2mg) and PT-141 / Bremelanotide (10mg). Oxytocin is a cyclic nonapeptide hormone closed by a disulfide bridge between its first and sixth cysteine residues; PT-141 is a cyclic heptapeptide melanocortin receptor agonist derived from Melanotan II.
Research Context
Oxytocin and PT-141 have each been studied independently in preclinical models examining OXTR receptor signalling and melanocortin-3/melanocortin-4 receptor activation respectively. This combined nasal formulation is intended for laboratory research into multi-peptide interactions and alternative delivery mechanisms.
